Founder of ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฎ ๐๐ฑ ๐๐ฐ๐ณ๐ญ๐ฅ and ๐๐๐ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ, Lara Blume McGee, was born and raised in Little Rock - Arkansas, in a progressive Jewish family. The challenges and cultural shock they experienced during their integration into the South were the driving force behind her father's dedication to helping people by fighting hate, teaching tolerance and seeking justice. These principles of tolerance and acceptance shaped Lara's worldview.โฃ
So finding out about her father's ALS diagnosis in 2009 was understandably a huge blow to Lara. His death could have sent her into a total tailspin, but instead, she chose to take that pain and use it to help other families faced with ALS.โฃ

Founder, ALS In Wonderland Foundation
Lara Blume McGee has made a career out of helping people. As the founder of Team Up World, a sports nonprofit management firm, she has worked with more than 50 NFL and NBA players.
After the loss of her father to ALS, a progressive degenerative disease that limits the brainโs ability to control voluntary muscle movement, she founded the ALS In Wonderland Foundation.
The foundation raises awareness and provides funding directly for the benefit of Arkansans with the condition.
