A nationally & internationally recognized accomplished motivational speaker, podcaster, middle school assistant teacher and disability advocate, David Figueroa is a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida.
David also uses his platform to allow others, through his Cerebral Palsy & Fitness Podcast, to share their stories of triumph and success.
Our conversation centered around David's determination to live a full and purpose-filled life with Cerebral Palsy, thanks to a stepmom who bravely chose to be his rock when he had no one else fighting his corner.
"If I'm gonna make it through this, I'm gonna make it with everybody on me, and if I end up falling halfway across the finish line, I'm gonna get up and keep going no matter what."
That was David's mantra through college and University.
David also shared a bit about his work as a Cerebral Palsy advocate & children's awareness educator, and so much more.
For someone with a multitude of challenges stacked into his path, David's self-drive and motivation are truly inspirational. He now lives an absolutely full life of varied interests, with sports and motivating others being his biggest passions.

David Figueroa is a nationally and internationally recognized accomplished motivational speaker, podcaster, middle school assistant teacher, disability advocate, and UCF graduate, as well as a former cycling, baseball, and football athlete with Cerebral Palsy.
In 2017, when he felt that his confidence was at an all time high, David began to come to terms with his condition and embrace it, acknowledging every one of his great accomplishments to himself.
Now, David continues to spread the message that there is always hope no matter what obstacles you are face with, and if you take your negativity in life channel it, and transform it into something positive you can become successful and work towards achieving your goals!
